What’s Wrong With Need For Speed Undercover?

The newest title ‘Need For Speed’ has got some some rather poor reviews, but I personally don’t see the problem with it.
I got the game a few days ago, and have been playing it since, it’s great! With the awesome ‘Most Wanted’ title and then the poor ‘ProStreet’ game which was only good for about a day, the ‘Need For Speed’ title needed a pickup. And I believe that the newest ‘Need For Speed’ game is that lift.
The game starts rather sudden, the opening movie sceen throws you straight into the driving action, so make sure that you’re not in the middle of a drink, like I was, when you start the game.
Overall this game is alot like ‘Most Wanted’, with many chases to escape from the rather short, and slow, arm of the law, plus with alot of high speed, action packed street races.
However, the thing that makes ‘Undercover’ better than ‘Most Wanted’ is the brilliant graphics and new cars. With a new set of cars including the Pagani Zonda F, Mclaren F1 and the amazing Bugatti Veyron, you can race across the streets at a lightening speed.
Although the storyline and graphics of the game are brilliant, there are a few downsides to it. Firstly, the AI of the game is rather poor, within all of the races there are some drivers that go for the win, and then there are the ones that try to hold you up by holding you up or pushing you into a wall or on coming traffic. For the first few attempts at a tough race, you will end up restarting due to the AI.
Although the game has it’s downsides, the overall play is brilliant, it’s a mix of ‘Burnout Paradise’ and ‘Need For Speed: Most Wanted’, and both of those games were great fun to play. I can only advise than when it comes to making their next ‘Need For Speed’ title, EA spend a little bit more time of the AI. Overall I would rate the game as 8.5/10
